DEM Party İmralı Delegation applies to meet Abdullah Öcalan

	ANKARA - DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan stated that DEM Party applied to meet Abdullah Öcalan for the third time. 

	Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan shared some information about the third meeting with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Ayşegül Doğan stated that they applied to meet with Abdullah Öcalan for the third time. 

	 

	Ayşegül Doğan also emphasised that Ahmet Türk was among the applicants, but that there is no clarity yet. Ayşegül Doğan said, "We expect them to meet Mr Öcalan as soon as possible, before the end of this week. We expect this meeting to take place as soon as possible. Upon their return, a comprehensive statement will be made to the public on this issue. A comprehensive statement will be made as a result of the evaluations to be made from there."

	 

	Ayşegül Doğan also touched upon whether the statement from Abdullah Öcalan will be video recorded or not and added, "Although some issues have not been clarified, we have already expressed our wish that the statement be video recorded. We have repeatedlu stated here that it would be better in many respects if it were video recorded, and that the isolation must be lifted anyway. We have also stated that the social demand is in this direction. Let us state that the effect of a visible and audible statement will be a stronger effect."
