	ISTANBUL - The May Day Istanbul rally, attended by thousands of people, ended with demands for equal, free and democratic life.

	&nbsp;

	May Day celebrated in Kadıköy, Istanbul ended. Despite the rain and cold weather, thousands of people participated in the celebration. At the rally, the message was given that peace, equality, freedom and democratic life will be possible through the struggle of workers, labourers and the oppressed. Again, the necessity of joint struggle was emphasised.&nbsp;

	SLOGANS

	&nbsp;

	"Jin, jîyan, azadî (Woman, life, freedom)", "Right, law, justice", "We will win if we resist", "There is no salvation, do it alone, do it all together, do it none of us", "Shoulder to shoulder against fascism" and "Bijî Serok Apo (Long live Leader Apo)" were the most frequently chanted slogans.

	The rally ended with the dances accompained by the songs performed by Group Munzur.
