Hope -inspiring music must be done through times of oppression 2018-11-03 14:22:59 KARS- Birkan Çelik who is a member of Koma Amed that have released the 3 albums called  "Kulîlka Azadî", "Agir û Mirov" and "Dergûş" , said Kurdish people respond to oppression with music and people must do hope inspiring music through times of oppression. The group that have 3 albums called  "Kulîlka Azadî", "Agir û Mirov" and "Dergûş" was founded when Hacettepe University student Evdılmelik Şexbeşir aka Syrian Angel's met with Ankara Medicine Faculty students Gülşen Çetin, Savaş Çakmak, Rohat Kutlar,Fikri Kutlay, Mustafa Kart and Ahmet Kaya.   Çelik who states that the best way fro the Kurdish people to respond the oppression is through music and hope inspiring music must be done through times like these.Çelik who emphasizes that  foundations like Mezopotamya Culture Center (MKM) must be supported and protected, tells us about a dream of his : "I have a dream. I want to give a concert in Amed on day. We never had a concert in Amed..I don't know if i can make this dream come true."
