
102 thousand applications in 4 months to Parliamentary Human's Rights Commission

	ANKARA- 102 thousand rights violation filed in 4 months to the Parliamentary Human's Rights Commission. Most of the applications were made from the prisons where 50 thousand people are arrested for drugs while 44 thousand people are arrester for 'terrorism'. While the number of prisoners reached 260 thousand, the number of the minors arrested is 3 thousand, 37 of them being younger than 6 months old.

	The Parliamentary Human's Right Commission assembled due to the violation of rights in prisons. Up-to-date information on human rights violations were shared in the meeting. As of 16 July 2018, the Commission received a total of 102 applications for violations of rights.
