
They drew attention to migration with their short films

	&nbsp;İSTANBUL- The students participated in the Project &nbsp;“Being drown in the archives” made significant short films to draw attention to migration. Young directors indicated that they first had to face themselves before the audience they want to create awareness.

	&nbsp;

	The Project “Being drown in the archives” which was started by İstanbul Culture University (İKÜ) in the scope of the 4th Design Bienal of İstanbul to create awareness about migration gave its products.

	&nbsp;

	&nbsp;The Project crew consisting of Art and Design Faculty and Cineme and Television Faculty students and the academicians first contacted national and international associations, printed media, televisions, agencies, universities and created a database of the documents they collected. That collection was shared with 25 students &nbsp;in the scope of the Project from İKÜ, Marmara University, Gelişim University and Koç University.

	&nbsp;

	The film screening was made in French Culture Center of the films made by those students in the last previous days. At the end of the screening ,the students working on the Project said that they learned a lot and became conscious about the people who had to migrate and they learned the importance of empathy.
