14 years passed: We never got over that day 2018-11-20 12:45:43   MARDİN- Mother Makbule Kaymaz said "We never forgot that day and what they did to us afterwards" for her husband and 12 year old son who was murdered with 13 bullets  in front of their home.   14 years have passed since the day truck driver father Ahmet Kaymaz and her 12 year old son Uğur Kaymaz was murdered by the police salvo. 8 bullets was extracted from the fathers body, and 13 bullets came out of Uğur's little body.   In the statment made by the Mardin Governorate about the father and son who was left with a kalashnikov by their dead body, mentioned 2 terrorists were killed during gun fight. No one was held responsible for killling the father and son who was declared terrorists from day one.   Mother Makbule Kaymaz told about the 14 years after her husband and child's murder to Mezopotamya Agency (MA).   Mother Kaymaz who indicated that she is going through the same pain every anniversary of their death, said she can't forget about that day. Kaymaz who said that 14 years were very rough for her and her children, said "We just want justice, we want peace. And in return what we get is oppression and cruelty."   Kaymaz stating that they never forgot that day nor the days after that day, said: "We lost our faith in justice. But they will pay for this if not in this world, then hereafter."   Kaymaz who drew attention to the fact that the defendant police were declared heroes, said: "They were declared heroes with the verdict of the case. That wasn't enough. The police, Serdar Gökbayrak,  that killed my son died in the coup attempt on July 15. He wasn't held accountable. The government ignored the fact that he killed my 12 year old son. And just because he lost his life on July 15, he was declared a hero again. They gave his name to a bridge in Kocaeli and rewarded again. The other cop is still on duty and was acquitted."
