63 people taken under custody in a month in Van 2018-12-26 12:55:17   VAN- At least 63 people were detained in Van for political reasons in the last month. 11 of them were arrested.     Almost every day dozens of people are being detained. Van is one of the cities where the detention and arrest operations are intense. At least 63 people, including HDP and DBP co-chairs, were detained in home raids between 24 November and 24 December.     Nine journalists and 7 Kurdish language educators were among those detained by members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), the Democratic Districts Party (DBP), members of the Peace Mothers Assembly, the Free Women's Movement (TJA), and the HDP Youth Assembly.        Among the detainees, 5 members of the Association of Language, Culture and Art Research (D HDSA-DER) and 6 people from the HDP Youth Assembly were arrested by the courts.
