Thousand Liras worth of fines to the settlements that has no electricity 16 hours a day 2019-01-16 11:57:37 MARDİN- The villagers living in Mardin, Ortaköy district who are expecting security measures to be taken about the life threatening power distribution units , found themselves face to face with the gendermerie. DEDAŞ units who came to the village with the soldiars imposed fines on the villagers. The power distribution units installed by Dicle electricity distribution company (DEDAŞ) years ago in the village Ortaköy where 12 thousand people live, turned out to be life threatening when a citizen was electrocuted.  The neighborhood residents requested the power distribution units to be fixed.   The subject was brought to the parliament's attention by People's Democratic Party Mardin Deputy Ebru Günay and it was learned that DEDAŞ units have raided settlements accompanied by the soldiars imposing fines on them.   In the home-raids took place on January 11, DEDAŞ units have imposed a thousand liras worth of fines to the settlements that does not have electricity 16 hours a day. The units have left the neighborhoods leaving life threatening  power distribution units unattended.
