The assault on prisoners have become a routine!

	ADANA-  Even though the battering incidents are denied in Kürkçüler Type F Closed Prison, İHD Prison Commission Spokesperson Attorney Zelal Demiray who says that battering have become a routine, the incidents usually take place in camera free zones like the staircases.

	 

	Adana Kürkçüler Type F Closed Prison comes up with violations of rights against political prisoners lately. Human Rights Association (İHD)  Prison Commission Spokesperson Attorney Zelal Demiray spoke to Mezopotamya Agency about it.

	 

	Attorney Demiray who says battering prisoners upon arriving the prison is almost a routine now, said the prison prosecutor claims he is sensitive about the matter but he could not find any evidence of anything like that happening in camera records.

	 

	Zelal Demiray said the battering usually takes place in camera free zones like stair cases, waiting rooms or upon arrival.

	 

	Demiray also stated that because of the practice called 'mix it fix it' the prisoners can not stay long in visitations because different kinds of prisoners are being brought to visitation together in order to mix and fix them and it causes tension. While providing the security and order in the penitentiary institutions is the main duty of the prison administration, the prisoners are not able to take open views due to this practice and therefore they have to provide their own security by themselves which is a violation of  their basic rights.

	 

	Demiray also recently filed a complaint with the Enforcement Court.
