Journalist Taşkın's case will be seen again at BAM 2019-01-28 11:40:28   ANKARA- Journalist Seda Taşkın, who was released after 360 days, was given a trial day by Erzurum Regional Courts of Justice (BAM). Taşkın's attorney Gulan Cagin Kaleli said:  We hope that the unlawfulnesses covered up by the district court will be investigated with more scrutiny by the Court of Appeals."   A new hearing date was given by the Erzurum Regional Courts of Justice (BAM) for journalist Seda Taşkın, a reporter of Mezopotamya Agency (MA) who was arrested on January 23, 2018 and released January 17, 2019. The BAM hearing will be held on March 20, 2019 for the journalist Taşkın who was arrested for her journalisim activities.   Taşkın's attorney Kaleli who stated that her client's release was a positive development, said it is a significant step for the Erzurum Regional Court of Justice doing a court with a hearing. Kaleli added: "  We hope that the unlawfulnesses covered up by the district court will be investigated with more scrutiny by the Court of Appeals then we can talk about a decision complying with the law. Even the release decision given by the local court itself shows how incomplete and unlawful the trial is. "
