Construction workers establishing 'Şantiye TV'

	İSTANBUL- Construction-Work Trade Union (İnşaat-İş) is establishing 'Şantiye TV' to make the voice of the workers be heard against the bad working conditions and worker killings.

	 

	Construction-Work Trade Union (İnşaat-İş) have announced that they are establishing 'Şantiye TV' to make the voice of the workers be heard.The channel which will start broadcasting on February 21 aims to draw attention to the bad working conditions and the worker killings.

	 

	In the television channel where the programs will be focusing on labour law, labour safety and worker's health, establishing class organization will be the main cause.The channel, which will start broadcasting on Youtube, will meet the audience on 21 February.

	 

	The statement of the Construction-Work Trade Union  with the title 'We are coming' is as follows: 

	"Our resistance, the union culture we are trying to create, the accumulation we have created with our tools, we have started to transfer to a TV channel that broadcasts regularly. Şantiye  TV should be seen as a continuation of the persistent practice we have shown so far in order to transform the construction workers, who are seen unorganized and unattended , into an organized force under the roof of our union."
