Eren Erdem begins a hunger strike against 'injustice' 2019-01-28 14:56:51 İSTANBUL- The former Editor-in-Chief of Karşı Newspaper  and former CHP deputy Eren Erdem starts a hunger strike tomorrow reacting to the judicial process about him. Journalist Barış Yarkadaş announced that Erdem had emptied his refrigerator in a program he was a guest at, at Halk Tv.   Yarkadaş who called on to Erdem for giving up the hunger strike said: He is starting a fast he called 'Justice'. He emptied his refrigerator yesterday. Then he informed the prison administration about his hunger strike. The attorneys are trying to put him off the hunger strike. Erdem sent a letter yesterday saying: "I am being kept here unjustly. I am being tried for being a member of FETÖ, an organization I have no connection to, which is very derogatory. I can't stomach this fact and I am starting 'justice fast' in the face of this injustice." First he decided to  feed himself only with liquids. He expects sensitivity from both CHP and the public. I hope CHP central executive board who are fighting like warriors to designate candidates for the local elections, fight for Eren Erdem too.
