Objection against the 'Killer Robots' is growing 2019-01-30 11:27:38   NEWS DESK - HRW has conducted public opinion surveys in 26 countries on unmanned robot guns, defined as  Killer Robots . 61 percent of respondents oppose "robotic weapons". Highest support to these robotic weapons came from India where 78 percent of Turkey's people oppose.   In the research Human Rights Watch conducted in scope of the Stop the Killer Robots campaing, using the Ipsos Online Panel system in 26 countries with 18 thousand 795 people in between November 26 and December 7, 2018, 3 out of every 5 people opposes these autonom weapons chosing its target and attacking on its own account.   'EXCEEDS THE MORAL LIMIT'   Participants who expressed their opinion on killer robots were asked the question of what their biggest concern was in the survey, where two-thirds of respondents (66 percent) said that completely independent weapons systems would  surpass the moral limit  and therefore the killing of these weapons should be prohibited.   HRW is making efforts to prohibit these totally independent weapons.
