
Standing up count imposed on 52 percent disabled prisoner

	MANİSA- The prisoners in Manisa Type T Closed Prison said the disiplinary penalty given due to objection to counting standing up is actually aiming suspending the execution. Özgür Bektaşoğlu who is 52 percent disabled said counting standing up is being imposed on him.

	The prisoners in Manisa Type T Closed Prison told the violations of rights they are being exposed to via letter to Human’s Rights Association (İHD) İzmir Branch. 52 percent disabled Özgür Bektaşoğlu who is staying in A-17 ward and Şemsettin Erdem, Özgür Çelik , Mehmet Tekin, Mustafa Çaçur, Muhlis Karan, Ferhat Kurt, Sezgin Ahmet Yeşil and Ahmet Bozkurt who has been on hunger strike since December 18,2018 shared the violations of rights they are being exposed to and called for public awareness.

	Prisoners saying that they are being exposed to cell punishments and that will end up in losing their right to parole said their appeals to be moved to another prison are not being processed.
