The hunger strikes of the prisoners in 67 different prisons all around the country with the same demand continues as well. There are 331 prisoners who are on hunger strike with Leyla Güven.   One of these prisoners is Şiyar Kara who got arrested in 2012 when he was 19 with political reasons. Kara who was sentenced to 17 years is now on hunger strike for 54 days since January 5.    Mother Kara who said his son looked fine when she visited him on February 18, said he lost a lot of weight. Kara said: "I did not want to see my son like that as a mother. I pretended I was ok not to upset him. My son is a prisoner, his freedom is taken away from him. Him being on hunger strike upsets us. I wish I had been on hunger strike instead."   Kara who said. "Hunger strikes must end" called on to the authorities to find a solution. Kara said: "We don't want bodies coming out of the prisons. We, as mothers, want a solution to be found and the hunger strikes to be over. As a mother every bite I eat, I think about my son and the other prisoners."
