From Türk to Erdoğan who said 'We will appoint trustees again': It's not going to be that easy 2019-03-01 13:01:13   MARDİN- HDP Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Co-chair candidate Ahmet Türk who came together with the journalists before local elections, answered Erdoğan who said 'We will appoint trustess again' and said 'It is not going to be that easy'.     People's Democratic PArty (HDP) Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Co-chair candidates Ahmet Türk and Figen Altındağ and Artuklu Municipality Co-chair candidates Nurettin Turgay and Fatma Yılmaz came together with the journalists. HDP Mardin District Co-chair Eylem Amak who made the opening speech of the program in a hotel in Old Mardin.Co-mayor candidate Türk answered the questions of the journalists.   Türk said about Erdoğan's words of reappointing trustees: "We will never be ripped away from our struggle for democracy. I want to say that, it is not going to be that easy.The people who are elected by the public can not be discharged by anyone. If they try to do so, the fact that this is a one man regime will reveal itself further.What is important for us is that our people's respond to this one man regime and this trustee policy.For them to execute their will.We are not like those people in love with a chair. And our struggle is not to secure those chairs for ourselves. We are trying to present the will of our people.We will win the election and then they can appoint trustees if they want to.   When the journalists asked Turk if they can accomplish their gold with a municipality in huge debts, Türk said they are thinking more about April 1 then March 31 and expressed his concern. Türk who stated that they will make an effort anyway, said: "We will inform our community and keep working."
