Body of the last hunger striker sent to Ağrı 2019-04-02 10:50:20 İZMİR- The body of Yonca Akıcı who ended her life protesting the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan was sent to Ağrı after the autopsy. Yonca Akıcı who has been in Şakran Women's Prison for 4 years with the accusation of 'being a member of an illegel organization', have joined the hunger strikes on March 1 and attempted to end her life on March 29.   Akıcı was being treated in Çiğli State Hospita where she was brought injured. The body of Akıcı , who lost her life yesterday at noon, was sent to Ağrı by the Forensic Medicine Institution after the autopsy.   5 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES   Medya Çınar (24) lost her life on March 25 in Mardin Type E closed Prison, Zülküf Gezen (33) lost his life on March 17 in Tekirdağ No 2 Type F Prison, Ayten Beçet (24) lost her life on March 23 in Gebze WOmen's Closed Prison, Zehra Sağlam (23) lost her lifein March 24 in Oltu Type T Closed Prison, protesting the isolation.   UğUr Şakar who set his body on fire in Germany, Krefeld on February 20, lost his life on March 22 in the hospital he was being trated in.   Deniz Kaya who made a statement on behalf of all prisoners, warned the prisoners not to make individual actions.
