Mother of Aktaş who lacks both hands: Meet the demand of our childen 2019-04-10 11:56:14   VAN - Fatma Aktaş, mother of Ergin Aktaş who lacks both hands and is on hunger strike for 40 days in İzmir Menemen Type R Closed Prison against the isolation in İmralı, said: "Meet the demands of our children."   Ergin Aktaş who is being kept in solitary confinement even though he has no hands, is on a hunger strike since March 2 demanding the termination of the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Aktaş who has been on hunger strike for 40 days is detoriorating day by day.   Aktaş has been suffering from fatigue, fever,delirium, lack of apatite,cough, bleeding in the mouth, tight chest, low blood pressure. Aktaş who is being given one Vitamin B a day, reportedly can not cut the lemons he is being given therefore can not consume them.   CALL TO THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE AND THE PRESIDENT   Mahir Aktaş, uncle of Ergin Aktaş said: "They have put Ergin into a cell alone. He is not doing well. The ministry of Justice and the President must find a solution, fast. Ergin says they will not end the hunger strike until the isolation ends. How can a person lacking both hands take care of himself alone in a cell? Their demands are our demands. Remove the isolation. End the hunger strikes."
