	BİTLİS - Construction of the mansion Erdoğan who said 'There are people intending to turn the seasides and the forests into concrete' in a meeting he attended have begun in a 10 thousand squaremeter area near Lake Van in Ahlat.

	 

	Ahlat Mayor Abdulalim Mümtaz Çoban stated that the construction of the mansion will be completed until August 25-26. Çoban said: "The construction of the mansion have started with the instruction of our President.We are hoping to complete the job until August 25- 26. The construction site is a 39 thousand squaremeter area."

	 

	Erdoğan announced the mansion he wanted by saying: "A Presidency Mansion will be good for Ahlat. Because Sultan Alpaslan started his state tent in there and may we do the same.We had a meeting with our governer and mayor today. They suggested an area about 1071 (the date of a war pre-Turkey) squaremeters. I said 'No'. It must be at least 5 decares. Our mayor got carried away and said 10 decares.This is a signal flare, I hope it will end well."

	 

	Reaction started flowing upon the words of the President. Many citizens started writing 'Ahlat is being plundered' from their social media accounts.People complained that Erdoğan claimed every mountain side, every beach to build a palace or a mansion and that what he actually should do is to set up a factory instead, if he will ruin the nature anyway.

	 

	Erdoğan said in a local administration symposium  'There are people intending to turn the seasides and the forests into concrete' and complained about capitalism.
