'The ministry should enforce the constitution'

	VAN- 7 citizens who started a 3 day support hunger strike demanding the termination of the isolation in İmralı, called on to the society for solidarity. The hunger strikers who addressed the Ministry of Justice, said: "Respect the constitution."

	70 YEAR OLD ON HUNGER STRIKE

	 

	 

	Besra Salhan, mother of Sinan Salhan who is on a hunger strike in Bafra Type T Prison since January 8,have started a hunger strike at the age 70 demanding the termination of the isolation. Salhan who stated that she started the hunger strike to draw attention to the hunger strikes of her son and Leyla Güven at her age,said: "Isolation must be removed. The minister of justice should respect the constitution. No more funerals should come out of the prisons."

	 

	'MINISRTY OF JUSTICE MUST DO THEIR JOBS'

	 

	Edibe Babur who drew attention to the hunger strike of Leyla Güven who is on a hunger strike for 156 days, reacted to the silence of the society. Babur who reminded that there are thousands of people on hunger strike in the prisons, said: "If there is a ministry of justice in this country, I am making a call for them and say, 'Stop! We've had enough of this tyranny. We want the demands of the hunger strikers met. We want the government and the President to hear us.We demand the ministry of justice do their jobs and apply the laws of the contitution."
