
Writer Çınar on hunger strike is detoriorating

	DİYARBAKIR- Writer İlhami Çınar who is on hunger strike in Şakran Prison, reportedly lost one eye and is suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding.

	&nbsp;

	The hunger strike initiated by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic PArty (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven against the isolation in İmralı continues. It was reported that writer İlhami Çınar who is on hunger strike since January 5 and &nbsp;being kept at Şakran No 1 Type T Closed Prison is detoriorating. Çınar who was able to made it to the visitation room with the help of a wheelchair the last time his brother visited, is unable to stand up according to his brother.

	&nbsp;

	Çınar who stated that his brother is calling on to the public, stating: "We are ready for everything. We are stepping towards death. The only thing we want from our people is to be our voices. The Ministry of Justice should not turn a blind eye to the deaths. Steps must be taken."

	&nbsp;

	Çınar applied to Human's Rights Association İzmir Branch about the violations of rights his brother is subjected to.
