
Access to Mardin Metropolitan Municipality will require identification control and General Information Screening (GBT)

	MARDİN - Citizens who want to enter Mardin Metropolitan Municipality will have to submit their identification cards and their General Information Screening (GBT) with the instruction of the Ministry of Interrior.

	&nbsp;

	After the transfer of the Mardin Metropolitan Municipality to the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in March 31st local elections again, on 7 May the police were placed on the municipal entrances with the order of the Ministry of Interrior.After the application, police made the citizens who would like to visit the municipality getting through x-ray devices andsubject them to General Information Screening (GBT).

	The police also allow employees passing through the same door as citizens after learning the units they work for.

	&nbsp;

	The extra security measures that was not applied even in the term of the trustee, was discussed with the Mardin Governership. The governership stated that they were instructed to do so.
