
Minister of Justice Gül: The ban on Öcalan's visitations with his attorneys has been removed

	ANKARA - Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül announced that the attorney visitation ban on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is removed.

	Minister Gül said: "The decision on visitation ban is removed and possibility of meeting was brought"

	Gül, who addressed the press, said: "We have visited İstanbul, Diyarbakır, Silivri, Urfa. And many other prisons including İmralı. Interviews were done with the interested parties, the prisoners and the convicts. They stated that there are positive developments in general. We will continue our path with an understanding that develops democracy, a liberterian understanding that says no to torture, ill and degrading treatment. Therefore, we will follow the criticism or suggestions on this issue carefully. The İmralı visit was made."
