Sick prisoner Aktaş continues his hunger strike in solitary confinement 2019-05-19 15:41:57 İSTANBUL - Sick prisoners Ergin Aktaş who is on hunger strike since March 6 in İzmir Menemen Type R, is being kept in solitary confinement in Silivri No 9 Prison where he was transferred. According to the information obtained, Ergin Aktaş is being kept with ISIS and FETÖ prisoner. Aktaş's attorney Gülizar Tuncer said: "He was brought to Silivri in a ring vehicle with a cage in the back.When we saw him, he asked us the time, if it is day or night."    Tuncer who stated that Aktaş told her he feels engirdled and disconnected from the world said: "Put aside that he is not given any reading meterials, he can not meet his basic needs.He told that he is in a dirty cell with no badclothes, toothpaste or even a soap. Therefore he said, he is starting a death fast against the isolation.Aktaş also stated that he is being pressured to end the hunger strikes and is being threatened that if he doesn't end the hunger strike 'things will change'"   Aktaş whose one arm is amputated, is not being released despite the forensic medicine institution report that says 'he can not maintain his life alone in prison'.
