'The isolation will end, there is no other way'

	DİYARBAKIR - Ahmet Sürme who is on hunger strike against the isolation in İmralı since December 26, stating that they want nothing for themselves, said: "Either our dead bodies will leave these prisons, or the isolation will end. There is no other way."

	Ahmet Sürme, one of the 6 prisoners in Tekirdğ No 2 Type F Closed Prison on hunger strike for 150 days, called on to the public for support in a phone call he made with his family. 

	 

	'MOTHERS ARE LEADING THE PROCESS'

	 

	Sürme, stating that he is having some difficulties since he is on hunger strike for a long time, said they are pleased about the attorney's visit to İmralı. Sürme who drew attention to the demonstrations of the mothers in white muslins, said the fact that mothers are leading the process means a lot to them. Sürme stating that their demand is the removal of the isolation on Öcalan, said: "We want nothing for ourselves. We laid laid our bodies to death. Either our dead bodies will leave this prison, or the isolation will end. There is no other way."

	 

	Sürme, uzun bir süredir açlık grevinde olduğundan dolayı zorluk yaşadığını belirterek, avukatların Öcalan ile görüşmesinden hoşnut olduklarını söyledi. Beyaz tülbentli annelerin yaptığı eylemlere dikkat çeken Sürme, annelerin eylemlerin öncülüğünü yapmasının çok anlamlı olduğunu belirtti. Taleplerinin Öcalan üzerindeki tecridin kaldırılması olduğunu söyleyen Sürme, “Biz kendimiz için bir şey istemiyoruz, bedenlerimizi ölüme yatırdık. Ya cenazelerimiz çıkacak ya da tecrit kalkacak, başka çaresi yok” diye konuştu.
