Prisoners are being reffered to hospitals 2019-05-27 11:37:16 NEWS DESK - Prisoners in different prisons are being referred to hospitals. 4 prisoners from Sincan prison, 20 prisoners from Kandıra Prison, 6 prisoners from Siverek Type T Prison, 22 prisoners from Şırnak Type T Prison, 5 prisoners from Çankırı Prison, 3 prisoners from Amasya Prison were referred to hospitals.   Hospital referrals and health checks of the prisoners who ended their hunger strikes and deaths fasts after PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan made a call for them to stop are continuing.     According to the information given by the Central Crisis Dest consisting of Turkish Medical Association (TTB), Health and Social Service Workers Union (SES), Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TIHV) and Human Rights Association (IHD) 4 prisoners, Saliha Taşkesen, Zeliha Ustabaş, Süheyla Taş and a prisoners whose name could not learned was taken to the Sincan Campus Hospital and sent back to prison after being checked. According to the information obtained, those 4 prisoners will be brought to Sincan Campus Hospital for another check today.     According to the information received from the Crisis Desk, there are problems in referrals in many prisons. SES Co-Chairperson Gönül Erden said that since the start of hunger strikes, they have not been aware of the health conditions of the prisoners who have been on hunger strikes since the independent committees were not allowed in prisons. For this reason, Erden stated that all the detainees who went on hunger strike should be referred to the hospitals and that both the initial tests should be done and the first intervention should be done at the hospitals.
