Jail break to torture! 2019-06-03 10:49:07 URFA - The public prosecutor of the Urfa, Halfeti investigation, interrupted the deposition of M. when he was describing torture in police headquarters. M. was taken to the courthouse jail, then changed his statement, argued that there was no pressure on him during his detention. The lawyer responded by saying the deposition process is unlawful.   According to the claims, the torture subjected to the people taken under custody after the armed conflagration in Urfa, Halfeti was under the control of the prosecutor.M who were taken under custody in the neighborhood after the armed conflagration, was tortured and forced to depose about his . He was subjected to torture for 12 days when he did not accept making false accusations about his relatives.M, who had to make false accusations about his relatives because of the torture he was subjected to, was brought to the courthouse on wednesday.     M who was deposed by the investigation prosecutor, did not accept his statement he made back in the police station, stated that he was deposed under torture and described what had been done to him.The prosecutor adjourned the deposition and M was brought back to courthouse jail. M who was brought back for deposition after the recess, changed his statement and said he was not subjected to any torture and no pressure was applied on him whatsoever.     M's attorney stepped in and said the process is unlawful and that the prosecutor can not adjourn the statement after it has begun and objected to the deposition process. While the investigation prosecutor accused the attorney of malpractive, M's attorney stated that his client have changed his statement after the recess and after he were brought to the courthouse jail and that this is not legal.       The investigation prosecutor asked M if he had been subjected to any pressure, threat or coersion. M stated that he wasn't subjected to any pressure and that he gave his statement with his own free will.          M., who gave his statement, was referred to court for a request for arrest with the accusation of being a member of an illegal organization and was arrested by the court with the 13 other detianees.
