Ramadan Feast message from the Co-chairs of HDP: May it lead to an honourable peace

	ANKARA - HDP Co-Chairpersons Pervin Buldan and Sezai Temelli celebrated the Ramadan Feast of the entire Islamic world in the hope of a lasting and honorable peace.

	 

	HDP Co-Chairpersons Pervin Buldan and Sezai Temelli have issued a message with the title; 'May the holidays lead to peace'. The message of the co-chairs is as follows: "We are giving the struggle to celebrate the feasts that are inherited to us as people who share this land, this common land and the common destiny with all our differences. Ramadan is the feast of the struggle against injustices. It is the feast of the creation of forgiving, reconciliation, interdependence and future together.

	 

	We can celebrate the holidays with their true meaning. We can build peace, establish common life on an equality basis. Just as we created hope with our struggle and labour; we can create our future through peace, democracy and freedom.

	 

	Despite the imposed wars, the policies of death, not only for the people in this land, but for all humanity, what we imagine is that everyone celebrates their own language, religion, identity and holidays in peace. Believe it is not that far away. Because there is HDP, because there are those who struggle and resist for this cause.

	 

	The Leyla's showed that we can make it. Thanks to their resistance, we welcome this holiday with the hope of the feasts we dreamed for the first time in many years.

	 

	Happy holidays to our peoples and the Islamic world, in the hope that it will lead to a lasting and honorable peace between the peoples, and we hope that will make the brotherhood and peace permanent.
