'The prisoners done their part, now its our turn' 2019-06-05 11:47:57 İSTANBUL - while Abdullah Algan who continued his hunger strike back at his home after his release, said: "The prisoners have done their part, now its our turn", Tuncer Sağlam said: "If the treatment of our friends are not done, there might be very serious and permanent outcomes." Abdullah Algan and Tuncer Sağlam who continued their hunger strikes after their release, ended their hunger strike on May 26, with the call of PKK Leader Abdullah  Öcalan. Algan and Sağlam who ended their hunger strikes evaluated the hunger strike action process, Öcalan's message and the treatment process. Tuncer and Sağlam who lost 15 kilos during the strike, said it was a rough period but Öcalan's message took away the pain and left them with hope and joy.   Algan who noted that they have access to the facilities to be treated because they are released, said: "“We have friends who have joined the hunger strikes before us and who are in more severe condition than us. We see that they do not do what they need for their treatment. I know from the prison I've been released, if the treatment of friends is not done well, they may face very serious permanent diseases. We have to follow the treatment process of our friends. Dungeons did what was necessary. Now its our turn to do all that we can for them."
