Senoglu: It is time to crown the people's will to live together

	ISTANBUL -  HDK Co-Spokesperson Sedat Şenoğlu stated that the government suffered a major defeat in the 23 June elections and said: "The quantitative difference in the election results will be an indicator of qualitative changes. It is time to crown the will of the people to live together”

	 

	CHP candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu won the elections of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, which was renewed by the Supreme Board of Elections (YSK), with a 9 percent margin. In the June 23 elections, as in March 31, the eyes turned to the voters of the People's Democratic Party (HDP). People's Democratic Congress Co-spokesperson Sedat Şenoğlu, evaluating the results of the renewed June 23 elections, said: "The people have changed their sides from fascism to democracy on June 23.People wanted the issues to be solved by the İstanbul elections rather than being in a political impasse.The quantitative difference in the election results will be indicative of qualitative changes. 	Şenoğlu who stated that in case of the widespread social alliance of democracies; peace, democracy and justice will come to Turkey, said: "Social alliance leads to people's power.We do not consider the people's power only in terms of voting in the elections. We consider social alliance as the people's deciding for their own future. This is the essence of local democracy. We saw that the local democracy have developed in this election.It is time to crown the will of the people to live together. Our work was essentially in this direction, and now we will make more efforts. ”
