Prison sentence to the father who lost his son in October 10 Massacre with the charge 'insulting the president' 2019-07-09 14:26:52   ANKARA - Mustafa Doğan who lost his son Güney Doğan in October 10 Ankara Massacre, was sentenced to 10 months of prison time.     The first hearing of the case where Mustafa Doğan who lost his son in October 10 Ankara Massacre was held in Ankara West Courthouse 8th Penal Court of 1st Instence. The accusation was 'insulting the president'.      Following the reading of the statement he made on September 11, 2018, father Doğan said: "ı don't remember if I said that or not. I was grieving and I demand my mood to be considered after that hearing. I am not guilty. I demand my acquittal."     The court board listened to Mustafa Özdağ whom Doğan brought as a witness. Özdağ said: "I didn't hear what he said at the time, but I saw him faint after the hearing because he could not endure the grief and the stress of the court. We had to call an ambulance for treatment.     The court sentenced Doğan to 10 months of prison time after the attorneys made their defense.      Mustafa Doğan was accused of saying: "(...) We do not trust in the judiciary of this country. The killer state will answer to us. Who killed our sons and daughters in that massacre is the government. This must be known. It is the AKP government and fascist Tayyip Erdoğan. He who destroyed the future of my son is Tayyip Erdoğan."
