Criminal complaint from attorney of Yoldaş who was tortured at his home 2019-08-01 12:36:22   DİYARBAKIR - Mehdi Özdemir, attorney of Ahmet Yoldaş whose ribs and foot was broken while he was being taken under custody by the police in his own home, filed a criminal compaint about the police responsible.     While Mücahit Yılmaz lost his life during the raid to the home of Ahmet and Birsen Yoldai on July 21, Yoldaş was laid on the floor, was battered and attacked by the k-9. Later, Yoldaş couple who were taken under custody, were taken to the Anti Teror Unit.While Birsen Yoldaş was released after her deposition,Ahmet Yoldaş was taken to Diyarbakır Military Hospital.Yoldaş who has been in intensive care for 9 days after the operation is under treatment at Orthopedic Service.     Attorney Özdemir who emphasized that his client did not resist to the police during the detention process, said his client was kicked in the head, laid to the floor, even stepped on and was attacked by the police dog.   Lawyer Özdemir reminded that his client had been taken to TEM Branch without being taken to hospital and stated that the police had exerted pressure on Yoldaş to work for them and again applied physical violence.   Attorney Özdemir demanded that the police responsible be punished according to the articles 86, 94 and 257 of Turkish Penal Code (TCK) with the charges of 'torture', 'maltreatment' and 'intentional injury '.
