Dam reservoir operation in Ilısu Dam becoming a threat

	BATMAN -  Dam reservoir operation started on July 23 at Ilısu Dam, which will leave the historic Hasankeyf submerged, reaching the houses in Kelekçi village and creating a threat.

	The Ilısu Dam, which will submerge the 12 thousand year old ancient city Hasankeyf that has been closed down on July 23 and water retention have started. The point the water retention came, causes threat for some villages in the borders of Hasankeyf as well as some places with low altitude points. 

	 

	 

	As a result of water retention, the water level in the village of Kelekçi reached the houses and started to pose a threat.
