People of İdlib at the borders of Turkey 2019-08-30 15:51:37 IDLIB - Following the Friday prayer in Idlib, thousands marched to the Turkish border and protested the Turkish state today. Turkish soldiers opened fire on the crowd and attacked them with tear gas as they marched to Bab al-Hawa border crossing leading to the Turkish Hatay city. While demonstrators responded with stones, reports say that many were injured during the attack of Turkish forces.   Numerous cars belonging to Turkish companies and institutions were targeted and damaged by demonstrators. Simultaneously with the protest in Idlib, a group wanted to stage a march in Hatay’s Reyhanlı district to the Cilvegözü border crossing, according to reports.   After the fall of Idlib’s Khan Sheikhoun town, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Erdoğan is alleged to have made new agreements for the disintegration and elimination of the mercenary groups in Idlib.   For the past two days, the mercenaries have been voicing strong criticism against Erdoğan and Turkey on social media.
