Construction took 21 years, the road did not last for a year 2019-09-03 11:31:30     ŞIRNAK - Şırnak-Cizre highway, which was opened to traffic after 21 years at a cost exceeding 500 million TL, is a mole nest after a year. Patch  work was started at many points of the 37-kilometer road.   The highway on the slopes of Mount Cudi between Cizre and the town of Sirnak is opened to vehicle traffic last year. The construction, which is claimed to cost about 514 million TL and which is claimed to last about 21 years, has become unusable for less than a year after the opening of the AKP.   The teams from overseers of highways started a patch work poring crushed stones. When it did not work, excavation started at many points on the road and the road was re- paved.
