Peace Mothers leads the Democracy Watch 2019-10-02 10:22:34   VAN - Peace Mothers who lead the Democracy Watch that continues for 45 days now, says they are there to claim their honour.     The Democracy Watch launched to protest the appointment of trustees to Diyarbakır, Van, Mardin Metropolitan Municipalities and Kulp and Karayazı Municipalities continues on its 45th day. Peace Mothers leads the demonstrations with their white head scarves. Mothers staging a sit in in front of the İpekyolu District building for days, draws attention to the fact that the trustees are usurping the will of the people and calls on to everyone to stand up against them.      'WE ARE HERE TO DEFEND OUR HONOUR'     Peace Mothers Assembly member Minüfer Kaçak stated that they participate in the demonstrations to defend their honour and claim their right to vote. Kaçak said: "The mayors the people voted for must be reinstated immediately. Our vote is our honour. We are here to defend our honour for 45 days today. The president, that has to be equal to all citizens is doing wrong to the Kurdish people. Enough to injustices, inequality, insults! Its our call to all of our people, defend your will!"
