
2 people arrested for criticizing Syria operation on social media

	KOCAELİ - 2 people got arrested due to critisizing the North and East Syria Operation on social media in Kocaeli. An arrest warrant was issued for 5 people in İstanbul. Kocaeli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued an arrest warrant on 2 people with the accusation of “making propaganda of a terrorist organization' and 'inciting hatred amongst the people'.

	&nbsp;

	The 2 people taken under custody from Darıca and Gebze by Provincial Security Directorate Anti-Terrorism Branch Units, were arrested by the court.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	İstanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office made a statement announcing that they are carrying out an investigation about 43 social media accounts and their holders that criticized the operation against Syria.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that an arrest order was issued against the owners of 5 accounts.
