Education Committee: 22 children lost their lives as a result of the attacks on North and East Syria 2019-10-21 10:29:57   NEWS CENTER -  North and East Syria Education and Training Committee Co-chair Kewser Kodo said that 22 thousand children lost their lives in the attacks and 86 thousand children were deprived of the right to education     North and East Syria Education and Training Committee Co-chair Kewser Kodo evaltuated the effects of the attacks carried out by Turkey agains North and East Syria. Kodo speaking to HAwar News Agency (ANHA), stated that 5 thousand teachers and 86 thousand students were deprived of ther rights to education.      Kodo stated that a large part of the population had to migrate with their families.   20 SCHOOLS COMPLETELY DESTROYED   Kodo said that at, according to the Health Committee, at least 22 children were killed and tens of children were injured in the attacks. Saying that 20 schools were completely destroyed in Serêkaniyê, Kodo gave the information that 810 schools were closed due to the attacks.   Kodo said that the children who were required to attend school were subjected to forced migration and called on the international forces to take precautions in this sense.
