30 people arrested in Urfa

	URFA - 26 people were arrested on charges of being a DTK delegate in Urfa and 4 people from youth organization were arrested.

	 

	 

	54 people were detained on charges of 'being a member of an organization' during house raids organized by the police in Urfa on October 9th, when the attacks against North and East Syria started. Those 54 people were referred to court yesterday and 28 of them were arrested with the accusation of being delegates of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) and 4 were arrested for being a member in the Youth Assembly.

	 

	While 22 of the youth were released, all of the people accused of being DTK delegates were referred to court demanding their arrest.

	 

	Eğitim-Sen (Education Union) Branch Co-chair Leyla Mümin, cancer patient Mahmut Korkmazer, and Hanım Yavuzer,  mother of HDP PM member Mehmet Yavuzer who were killed in the basements of Cizre were arrested with the accusation of 'being a member to an illegal organization', including 4 Youth Assembly members.
