Barış: Bombing of Shengal is the continuation of the ISIS attacks 2019-11-05 14:51:44 İSTANBUL - Reacting to TSK bombing Shengal's Xanesor district, Yazidi sociolog Azad Barış said: "These air attacks, similar to the ones ISIS did in 2014, are the continuation of those ISIS attacks. Xenasor district of Shengal was bombed by Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) war planes yesterday. At least 3 civilians were injured in the attack, while a large number of property damage occurred. Responding to this attacks, People's Democratic Party (HDP) Vice President and Yazidi Sociolog Azad Barış said that these attacks are the continuation of the ISIS attacks back in 2014.    Barış, underlining that the main aim of these attacks in the hostility towards the Kurds, said: "What we have been saying for some time now and which surfaced with the decision of war against Rojava is; the hostility of the Turkish state against the Kurds have reached a point where we see there is no limit to it and reached everywhere the Kurds live. The state considers every place the Kurds live and breathe as a threat and wants to kill, destroy and annihilate those places. This dominant point of view, which has been taking place for a while and has spread to the top of the state, is an expression of an attack concept from Efrîn to Silêmaniye. The state mind of Turkey that sees the Kurds as a threat does not apply their own laws or the international law and carries out cross border attacks. We can see the Xenasor attack in this general framework."   Barış stating that these air attacks, similar to the ones ISIS did in 2014, are the continuation of those ISIS attacks, said: "Shengal and Efrin are the same in this general framework when you see it from the perspective of the state. Kobané and Xenasor are also the same. Başur and Rojava and Bakur and Rojhilat are also the same. We can also say that the appointment of trustees, the arrests of the Kurdish politicians are the pieces of the same concept."
