Shots fired to the prostesters in Iraq: 8 dead, 20 wounded

	NEWS CENTER - The anti-government demonstrations in the capital Baghdad and in various Shiite cities have been going on for more than two months. 8 people died and 20 were wounded as a result of the shots fired against the protestors.

	 

	Late on Friday evening unidentified people opened fire on the car park near Tahrir Square, which was used by demonstrators in Baghdad since the protests began.

	 

	Eyewitnesses said that a group of armed people targeted civilian vehicles and then opened fire on the demonstrators.

	 

	Iraq official sources have not made any statement about the incident so far.

	 

	After the incident, the demonstrators chanted anti-government slogans and tension is starting to mount again.

	 

	The number of those who lost their lives in the demonstrations increased from 1 October to 450, while more than 15,000 people were injured.

	 

	Iraqi President Berhem Saleh must authorize a new name to form a government by 16 December. This name should also form a government within one month and submitted to the approval of parliament.
