
Yüksekova Mayor Yaşar released and arrested again

	HAKKARİ- Yüksekova Co- Mayor Remziye Yaşar who was released by Hakkari 1st High Criminal Court, was re-arrested following the objection of the prosecution to her release.

	After the hearing at the Hakkari 1st Ağrı Criminal Court, the release of Yüksekova Municipality Co-mayor Remziye Yaşar, who was released under judicial control, was stopped with an appeal. When the Hakkari 1st Criminal Court insisted on their release decision after the objection of the prosecution, the prosecution appealed to Hakkari 2nd High Criminal Court, which is a higher court. Hakkari 2nd High Criminal Court evaluated the objection and decided Yaşar to be arrested again.&nbsp;

	Stating that this is illegal, Yaşar’s lawyer Güzel Karataş stated that they would object to the objection and said: “This is a great misfortune. This is a political decision and we will object to the objection."
