Prisoner, whose treatment was blocked, faces intraocular ossification 2020-02-09 10:40:49   ANKARA - In the eyes of the prisoner Adem Durmuş, who is imprisoned in Samsun Bafra F-Type Closed Prison was not given treatment for the cataract disease on his left eye his left eye and now faces intraocular ossification.   Adem Durmuş, who has been in prison for 3 years in Samsun Bafra F Type Closed Prison, faces the risk of losing his eye because he was not treated for the cataract in his left eye. His brother Güven Durmuş told that his brother was not treated.   Güven Durmuş, stating that his brother had a problem with his left eye and in the University Hospital of 19 Mayıs in Samsun, the diagnosis of cataract was made and it was stated that he should an eye surgery, told that: “My brother had a cataract surgery on his right eye before the prison. He had a lens before, but the doctors told him that they don’t have the same lens and they can not accept lenses come from outside of prison and they should use a different lens. So my brother does not accept the surgery.”   INTRAOCULAR OSSIFICATION DUE TO LACK OF TREATMENT   Stating that the doctor also said that the sight of the eye was also at risk of being lost during the surgery due to ossification, Durmuş said, “My brother also refuses to have surgery again. There is loss of vision in his left eye right now and nothing is being done about his treatment."   ‘MY BROTHER'S TREATMENT SHOULD BE DONE’   Durmuş, who demands the treatment of his brother, said that the medical reports of the imprisoned brother are not given to them. Stating that they could not show the reports to other doctors because they do not have those medical reports, Durmuş said, “My brother is about to lose his eye. Now his sightseeing is blurred. I call out to the Ministry of Justice, my brother's treatment should be done. If people are being held in prison, they should be cared medically.”   MA/ Berivan Altan
