Chief Public Prosecutor's office considers DTK 'illegal structuring' 2020-03-04 10:36:53 DİYARBAKIR - In the indictment prepared for HDP's former MP imprisoned Selma Irmak, the words 'illegal structuring' was used for Democratic Society Congress (DTK) while Leyla Güven was referred as 'alleged Co-Chair'.    A new lawsuit was filed against Selma Irmak, one of the names arrested in the operation against Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) on November 9, 2016 with the accusation of 'propagandizing an illegal organization'.Irmak who is being held at Kandıra No 1 Type F Prison went on a hunger strike with 49 politicians, lawyers and artists due to the fact that PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan was deprived of his rights to be visited by his family and lawyers on September 5, 2016 in HDP Diyarbakır provincial organization building. The indictment prepared by Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with the request of Diyarbakır Provincial Security Directorate was accepted by Diyarbakır 9th High Criminal Court.   The phrase 'illegal structuring' was used for DTK in the indictment while the phrase 'alleged co-chair' was used for DTK Co-Chair Leyla Güven who was invited to the opening reception of Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) speaker Cemil Çiçek.
