Rudaw reporter arrested on 'Idlib' posts

	ANKARA- Rudaw reporter Rawin Sterk Yıldız, who was detained in Edirne and brought to Ankara, was arrested.

	Rawin Sterk Yıldız, a Rudaw reporter who had been taken into custody on February 29 following refugees at the border in Edirne, was brought to Ankara on 3 March. Yıldız, who was held in the TEM Branch of the Provincial Security Directorate, was sent to the Ankara Courthouse after his deposition.

	Yıldız, who was taken to the prosecutor's office, was sent to the Criminal Court of Peace on duty with the demand of his arrest on grounds of  "propagandazing an illegal organization". Yıldız, whose statement was taken in the Criminal Court of Peace, was arrested by the court on the same grounds.

	Yildiz said that he was doing his job and following the news and that his social media posts were also news related. Yıldız was transferred to Sincan Prison after his arrest.
