The arrest warrant against Kurdish journalist Devrim Ayik has been lifted. A court in the Turkish Mediterranean metropolis of Antalya on Tuesday approved a corresponding request by Ayik's lawyer and ordered his release from prison. Ayik is suffering from Crohn's disease and colon cancer. This puts him in the (high) risk group in the case of coronavirus infection.   Attorney Ramazan Gökalp expects his client to be released from prison later today. However, his client will be placed under house arrest. In addition, a ban on leaving the country has been imposed.
