
Minister Gül: 3 convicts died from Covid- 19

	ANKARA - Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül stated that 17 convicts were diagnosed with coronavirus, 3 of them died from Covid-19 while the treatment of 13 convicts continue.

	Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül made statements after the coordination meeting. Gül said, “In 5 open prisons, 17 convicts were diagnosed with Covid-19, 3 died, and the treatment of 13 continues. Cases in prisons are controllable. A person is being treated in intensive care. There are positive cases in our judicial organizations too."

	Gül announced that additional rights will be granted for the prisoners and convicts who cannot use their permits and visitation rights after the measures are removed.
