Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Deputy Co-Chair responsible for the Labor and Worker Affairs, Şaziye Köse, published a written statement about the worker Uğur Kartal, who died in a shoe factory in Antep, due to the coronavirus (Kovid-19) outbreak.    The statement is as follows:    'GOVERNMENT TELLS THE WORKING CLASS O DIE'   "The government has turned a blind eye to our warnings and yesterday anoter worker has lost his life. We lost another working friend of ours, Uğur Kartal, 27, due to coronavirus yesterday in Akınalbella shoe factory located in Gaziantep. Stay home and social distance and many measures as such have been adapted, but non of these measures work for the working class. Especially in Turkey. AKP government prioritize the economy over publich health. Government tells the working class to go to work and to die in such an extra-ordinary time. The factory, in which the worker Uğur Kartal was working, was one of the industrial plants, which we have raised our concerns and warnings regarding the pandemic risk. The disaster is on our doorsteps. The non-essential production activies should be suspended immediately before it is too late."
