Having suffered from loss of blood pressure, prostate, rheumatism, corneal rupture in his eyes and loss of sensation in his arm, Aksoy stated that the medications he uses due to his chronic illnesses have been given late and they have not been receiving hygene materials despite the risk of coronavirus spread in prison.   AKP USED HIS LAST CARD   Aksoy have been imprisoned in various prisons in Ağrı, Rize Kalkandere and Kocaeli Kandıra Prison as his last resort. On his weekly phone call with his neiece Hivda Aksoy, Aksoy told what he has been through in prison. Niece Aksoy shared what his uncled told her on the phone: "Since the government is not able to cope with the thoughts which rise against them has find another way to struggle with these critical thoughts, that is to kill them. That is why they excluded political prisoners in the new execution law. The risk that the pandemic spreads through prisons is pretty high and we are left in prisons defenseless against the pandemic."   ONLY ONE BAR OF SOAP!   Niece Aksoy also told: "In our last phone call my uncle told me they have not been given any hygene material and even if they want to pay for some materials they are not supplied with anything. He also reported that very low standard foods are distributed to the prisoners. My uncle also states that he is having some kind of a flu which causes him to lose weight. According to his reporting, only one bar of soap was distributed to each prisoner. We are going to send him disinfectants through cargo post, but we have no idea if the prison management will accept it or not, but we will try our chances. They are also not given any book or magazine for the last 3 months."   MINISTER OF JUSTICE IF THE RESPONSIBLE   Niece Aksoy also spoke about their concerns on the fact that political prisoners are excluded from the new execution law, which has recently been updated as a caution for COVID-19: "There are many positive coronavirus cases in prisons. It is not only families or lawyers, who can carry the virus to the prisons, but also the guardians. And the responsible for this is the Minister of Justice. We want all the political hostages in prisons to be let out, especially the sick ones and the ones who belong to the risk groups. The new execution law is the implementation of killing the humanitarian and political thought. We want this execution law to be terminated immediately. We will not give up from this demand."   MA / Dindar Karataş
