5 people arrested in Van

	VAN - Of the 15 people who were detained in Van province three days ago, 5 have been remanded in custody.

	14 people were taken into custody during house raids carried out by the police in the Hacıbekir (Xaçort) neighborhood in Van’s central İpekyolu district on May 1 morning. One other person was detained on the same day during a criminal record check in the neighborhood.

	 

	The detainees have been referred to court today. While 10 were released, the other 5 were remanded in custody and sent to Van T Type Closed Prison.
